In modern medicine, intractable diseases are mostly diseases such as tissue cell senescence, tissue cell damage, immune deficiency, loss of function, blood circulation disorders, insufficient energy, etc. Korean traditional medicine can effectively counter these by offering: anti-aging, cell regeneration, immune enhancement, the restoration of function, blood circulation and the strengthening of energy.

Vertebral & joint diseases
We aim to end pain rapidly and to minimize the recurrence of disease without using modern analgesics. Vertebral diseases and joint diseases are, apart from cases caused by trauma, mostly caused by weaknesses of the muscles, ligaments and cartilage. Because diseases of the muscles, ligaments, and cartilage are usually caused by aging or weakness of the liver and kidneys, strengthening the liver and kidneys results in strengthening of the muscles, ligaments and cartilage.

Sasang Constitution Medical Information
Korean traditional medicine is Qi-medicine for prevention and treatment.
Sasang medicine is a constitution medicine that distinguishes 4 different types of constitution; Taeyang-in, Taeeum-in, Soyang-in and Soeum-in, depending on the strength of the organ functions. In this case Tae(大,big) and So (小, small) do not mean the physical size of the organs instead, they indicate whether the organ function is strong or weak.
people are the product of the universe and are born with the Qi heaven and the earth, which changes according to the movement of the four seasons.
In the human body, there are Qi of Yin & Yang and five elements of heaven and earth; these form a person’s Qi. The body’s Qi is the foundation of the material that maintains life, and the movement of the Qi is also a life activity of a person. When we compare people to heaven and earth we see that they are constrained by the 5 elements’ laws of motion, along with the universe, and share many concrete laws of motion.
As the Qi of heaven and earth are divided into the yin and yang, (so) we can distinguish between the yin and yang in a body’s Qi. Thus, changes in the movements of people’s and cosmic Qi must follow a unified discipline. In other words, if people conform to the universal order, they can lead a healthy life. However, if they do not, they develop diseases
Korean traditional medicine is based on these principles as explained so far. Recently, Korean traditional medicine has developed tremendously. It’s basic research and clinical studies focus on intractable diseases (cancer, diabetes, hypertension, paralysis, hepatitis, etc.) and pursues animal testing on a selection of acupuncture points, anesthetics and pain relief using magnetic acupuncture, etc. In particular, basic research in Sasang medicine has a very special aspect.
Sasang medicine is a system-"delete" created by the Korean medicine scholar Lee Jae Mah. It diagnoses and treats disease based on the individual constitution. It is a unique theoretical system that treats disease through clinical proof of an individual’s image and appearance.
This is an important theory in Korean traditional medicine, and it added a new concept, called constitutional medicine, to the repertoire of Korean traditional medicine.
